Ability to work under pressure ( 2-3day turnaround time per gearbox repairs)
Willingness to work overtime.
Tracing faults on parts.
Gearbox examination and testing.
Disassemble of gearboxes and tagging parts as needed.
Repair, replace and assembling of gearboxes.
Completing of failure reports.
Maintaining of work-bay cleanliness.
Maintaining of safety standards / procedures.
Relaying technical and mechanical details and failures to supervisor.
Transmission testing methodology requirements.
Good problem solving skills.
Clear communication skills.
Adaptability and establish priorities.
COVID-19 considerations:
Sanitizing bays available on the premises. All staff and customers is required to wear a mask.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
