**Purpose of the Job**:

- Contribute to the successful delivery of the business strategy through insightful actuarial analysis.
- Fulfill regulatory responsibilities and ensure policyholders' interests are protected.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the development, updating, and maintenance of actuarial data sources.
- Identify opportunities for improved data use and more insightful actuarial analysis.
- Contribute to quarterly and year-end solvency capital requirement calculations.
- Contribute to the production of QRTs and outputs for financial reporting.
- Assist in developing an effective capital management framework, including economic capital modelling and risk optimisation.
- Contribute to quarterly and year-end reserving calculations.
- Monitor insurance schemes, including monthly loss ratio analysis.
- Develop and embed processes to ensure factor reserves and earning patterns are robust.
- Implement and embed the use of actuarial software within the reserving process.

**Other Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the production of documented actuarial outputs for sign-off by the Chief Actuary and relevant committees.
- Automate processes for data preparation, transformation, and reporting.
- Support reinsurer requests for data and respond promptly.
- Maintain professional qualifications and fulfill CPD requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Studying towards a Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) or equivalent actuarial exams.
- Significant non-life insurance modeling experience.
- Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, autonomous, and able to deputize for their manager when required.
