_The purpose of this position is to plan, develop and implement effective marketing strategies for the Product Range assigned; to effectively reach customers, partners and end users - to communicate the value proposition of the Products and influence the market share thereof. The end goal is to maximise profits / leads generation through developing strategies to promote the Products and Services of your Vendors. _

**Academic Qualification**:
**Experience**

High School Qualification

3 Year Marketing/Communications Diploma or Degree (Min Requirement)

MS Office package

Experience in working on CMS system preferred (Joomla, WordPress or Similar)

Basic design skills (Advantageous)

Web analytics

Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Officer or similar role

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools

Experience with research methods using data analytics software

Technical environment (Advantageous)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing marketing plans and managing marketing budgets

Team player
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, coordinating requirements and establishing contacts list
- Responsible for all marketing and communication functions
- Manage the website and website content keeping it fresh and updated
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Analyse client profiles according to market segmentation
- Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, advertising and maintaining research databases
- Host quarterly marketing update meetings with all vendors to determine what the key messaging focus campaign is for the quarter
- Ensure that partner sales and technical people have access to all product material on Web and Social Media and keep the information current
- Ensure that a minimum of three quotes is obtained for all spend to maximise budget
- Manage the marketing budget within the restricted spend and update management monthly
- Manage suppliers / vendors: BBBEE level of level 4 and above - keep record of spend and obtain BBBEE certificate
- Manage and report on ROI for all marketing initiatives
- Measure ROI on all MDF and marketing spend
- Generate a report for each activity or event

**Salary**: R20 000,00 - R28 000,00 per month
