**The Opportunity**

We are actively seeking a dynamic Finance Director with strong commercial acumen. Positioned as a key contributor to the company's strategic vision, the Finance Director will report directly to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in advancing Electrum's standing in the industry. The company's unwavering commitment to excellence in serving Banks, Retailers, Telcos, and Insurers underscores its prominence in the tech sector.

In this role, the Finance Director will spearhead financial strategy and leadership initiatives, working collaboratively with the CEO to shape Electrum's financial trajectory. Responsibilities include leading the development of budgets and financial models, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, implementing effective risk management practices, and fostering a high-performance culture within the finance team. Proficiency with financial tools and a high degree of commercial acumen are imperative for success in this role.

**Requirements**:
**What you’ll need**

Essential requirements for this position are:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 15+ years of Finance experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a management role
- Proficient in the use of financial management software

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong data analysis skills using Google sheets, Excel, SQL or similar
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong decision making skills and ability to provide clear direction
- Excellent time management skills
- Coaching skills

Increase your odds by having
