Offshore Storeman

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL BE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:

- Ensure compliance with Group Safety and Security Policies
- Arrange for equipment to be sent ashore for repairs/replacement/scrap and prepare the necessary waybills.
- Control and ensure the correct receiving, storing, and issuing of all stock items.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder timeously.
- Process the ordering of spares as required by other depths (departments) and follow up on all outstanding orders.
- Identify redundant and scrap stock and conduct regular spares audits.
- Do regular updates on bin table and store floor plan.
- Keep the stores documentation processing, computer data and filing up to date, including daily monitoring of mining consumables.
- Inform the Offshore Manager/Offshore Technical Manager and Warehouse Manager of changing spares and maintenance requirements.
- Maintenance of store area housekeeping and standards for all operating areas (RSA & NAM)
- Performance of any reasonable task requested by the OSM/OTM.

**REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS**
- Grade 12
- 5 years of storekeeping experience encompassing all aspects of issues & receipts
- Familiar with MS programs and computerised store systems
- A general understanding of technical engineering aspects preferable
- Valid Passport
- Police Clearance Certificate
