DOVES require highly focused, operational and implementational employees who have the ability to execute.

We currently have a vacancy for an**:Arranging Branch Manager**

**Core functions**:
To render a professional funeral arranging service to meet client requirements in order to maximize the profit and turnover of the branch.

**Key Performance Areas**

1. Funeral Arranging Meeting - meet with the families of the deceased to discuss funeral arrangements and requests.

2. Analyse monthly financial performance and determine any discrepancies - Compare actual budget vs budgeted figures, determine whether action plans weren't sufficient, discuss variances with superior and revise actions plans.

3. Ensure all debtors are authorized according to companies credit policy

4. Online Purchasing system - sign off the purchases order/ requisitions etc.

5. Stock Control - monthly stock taking must be done manual and reconciled with DovesNet stock level report

6. Asset control - Update asset register on a monthly basis

7. Marketing

8. New business Policy sales

**Requirements**:
1. Excellent verbal and written skills.
2. Proficient in English.
3. Excellent People skills
4. Must have good organizing skills
5. Must excel in good client relation skills
6. Have to understand all the funeral products (policies and contracts) and services on offer
7. Must be able to guide clients under stressful situations and show empathy.
8. Valid Driver’s Licence.
9. Computer literate.

10. Matric/Grade 12

**Experience required**

Minimum of 3 years in funeral arranging role.
Strong coordination, administration and customer service experience.
Strong logístical experience (process and control ability).

**Knowledge Required**

The funeral arranger must be familiar with and have knowledge on the procedures to be followed when arranging a funeral or cremation.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fish Hoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Funeral Industry: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License and Vehicle (preferred)
