**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an opportunity for a junior **MI Analyst** to join our Insights team. The purpose of this position is to develop and deliver reports and analyse business information to produce insights into opportunities to optimise business areas. It centralises around feeding these insights back into human communication, or automated communication to stores, which needs to be analysed and reported on.

**DUTIES**
- Develop and deliver standard and routine MI reports as well as ad-hoc reporting requests by using a range of databases/systems.
- Clarify requirements, identify options to progress, prioritise and plan the work required, upon receipt of MI requests.
- Update stakeholders to ensure delivery against agreed timelines and complete necessary checks to ensure the quality and accuracy of the information provided.
- Support the delivery of statistical information, interpretation of data and the presentation of Management Information to meet the needs of internal customers.
- Collect, manipulate and manage large datasets using various tools, e.g. Excel, Excel VBA, SQL, Google Data Studio, etc.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the development, delivery and maintenance of MI reporting.
- A critical aspect of this role is the requirement to liaise with a wide range of staff at all levels within the business, requiring a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Engineering/Business/Commerce graduate.
- CFA desirable.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excel/Google Sheets at intermediate level.
- Google Data Studio and Powerpoint/Google Slides competence highly advantageous.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, independently tracking progress and giving feedback.
- Requires mínimal oversight and guidance.
