**Career Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity available for **Passers**for the Company’s Head Office in Bellville, Cape Town.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all knitting machines have sample socks
- Ensure production on machines are according to the Master Sock
- Ensure visibility of sample sock on the correct machines for matching
- Ensure that the yarn specification of the blue ticket corresponds with the sample sock
- Ensure daily inspections are done and the data is scanned
- Ensure daily plating tests are done
- Accurate recording of faults by scanning tickets
- Effective communication with all key customers
- Ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and QMS standards
- Responsible for housekeeping in your area
- Adherence to health and safety regulations and all company procedures and policies

**Requirements**:

- Skills and knowledge gained in the business will be advantageous
- Must be employed in your current position for more than 1 year
- Previous knitting experience is compulsory
- Must have basic literacy skills
- The ability to give attention to detail
- The ability to follow set procedures
- Be able to work shifts
- Willingness to work overtime
- Be able to work under extreme pressure
- Ability to work accurately
- Good interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of quality and commitment to maintain standards
- Commitment to improve standards of the business
- Be able to work well in a team and individually
- Flexibility to work in any area as expected by your leader
- Be able to make sound decisions and act proactively
- Physically fit: - must be able to stand for long hours
- Must have good eyesight, colour assessment to be done
- Trustworthy, honest and able to own up to mistakes

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R1 804,50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville South, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
