Purpose of Role:
Set-up and machining of products to specifications on production machines as well as inspection of products to specifications and work instructions. Root cause analysis

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First:

- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Systems:

- Set and operate specified machine. Sign first off components
- Able to identify inserts and trouble shoot where necessary

Process:

- Machine components to drawing specification within the required standard time.
- Work with tolerance of 12 microns
- Use of measuring instruments - outside and inside mics, verniers, telescopic gauges, thread and blade mics, bore mics, thread gauges

Programming:

- Able to read, alter off sets and set geometry of tooling on CNC programs
- CNC horizontal and vertical borer (3-5 axis) and CNC lathe

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- Matric
- Qualified Fitter and Turner with red seal
- 2 - 3 Years CNC experience
- CNC Programming course (Disired)
- Computer Literate - MS Office Suite
