Head of Pepmoney

ROLE OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Determine and execute the company’s Financial Services strategy
- Responsible for the overall operational management and performance of the department
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the PEPMoney portfolio
- Manage strategic initiatives from inception to execution
- Conclude commercial and contractual negotiations
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and coach members of the Financial Services team
- Facilitate culture, values and principles inline with that of the company

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- A business related qualification at a tertiary level
- A minimum of 3 years senior management experience required
- A minimum of 5 years retail experience required
- Experience in the Financial Services industry will be advantageous
- Proven track record of managing teams
- Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills
- Ability to leverage data and financial analysis to understand problems, identify options, inform decisions and drive targeted outcomes
- A good understanding of IT systems and digital platforms
- Good judgement, together with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The ability to influence across various levels and functions within the business
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within, as well as outside the company
- Experience in managing projects end to end
- Competent at operating independently
- Willingness to get involved operationally
- Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal, people management & leadership skills
