Guesthouse Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the guesthouse, including front desk operations, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in/out efficiently, and provide assistance with any inquiries or requests.
- Ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the lodge's standards of quality.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to schedule cleaning tasks and ensure timely room turnover.
- Maintain inventory of guest supplies, amenities, and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback, complaints, and requests, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate guesthouse staff to ensure excellent service delivery and adherence to lodge policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other lodge departments, such as food and beverage and activities, to coordinate guest services and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Monitor guesthouse performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, guest satisfaction scores, and revenue, and implement strategies to achieve targets.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in a guesthouse, hotel, or lodge setting.
- Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the demands of the lodge operation.
- A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
