Daily pickup/drop-off from Hartbeespoort to Centurion

To operate a company-owned motor vehicle safely and efficiently to transport passengers and/or cargo and to provide messenger services.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Matric (Grade 12)

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Must have the ability to read maps and plan driving routes.
- Must have good verbal communication skills, and an ability to handle all persons with professionalism and discretion.
- Must be able to perform basic vehicle inspection and must possess intermediate level automotive maintenance skills.
- Must have basic computer skills to maintain reports and for communication purposes.

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years’ experience in Professional driving/ messenger services

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid driving license code B
- PDP

**DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO**:

- The incumbent safely and efficiently operates a company-owned motor vehicle to transport passengers and/or cargo.
- Daily pickup/drop-off from Hartbeespoort to Centurion
- Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicle and notify supervisor of any issues
- Complete daily mileage log book
- Visual inspection of vehicles’ condition must be done continuously & deviations reported to Supervisor as soon as it is observed
- Abide by all transportation and traffic laws
- Provide assistance proactively when needed or required by the supervisor to the benefit of the company or section
- Maintains vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition, to include cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Performs basic vehicle inspection daily.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs of vehicles
- Prepares trip reports, vehicle use and fuel logs. Estimates fuel consumption for trips. Obtain and reconcile fuel receipts of vehicles

**Salary**: R7 500,00 per month
