**Your areas of responsibility**:

- Set and operate machinery used in the production process.
- Liaise with the Laboratory to ensure that the quality and production standards of the products are met.
- Monitor machinery and/or equipment by identifying problems to prevent down-time or work stoppages.
- Identify and report maintenance/repair needs to the Supervisor.
- Monitor and report raw material wastage, losses and/or shortages.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the blending areas.
- Plan daily activities and work against the production plan.

**Qualifications we are looking for**:

- A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in the chemical / lubricants industry preferred.
- Must be willing and prepared to work shifts.
