Junior Technician

**Valid SA driving license and own reliable transport is required.**

You will work with other technicians and design engineers to produce, test and ship electronic products. You will also have general responsibilities around the office including inventory management and general technical tasks.

Roles & Outcomes:

- Storeroom maintenance and keeping track of stock.
- Traveling to/from suppliers.
- Product assembly.
- Product testing and fault finding.
- Soldering electronic components during product/prototype assembly and re-work.
- Preparing and packaging items for shipment.
- Documentation and database maintenance for test reports and stock lists.
- General hardware work around the office.

Education & Qualifications:

- Matric certificate.
- At least 1 year of electronic technician experience, or appropriate diploma qualification.
- **Excellent work ethics, punctual, enthusiastic and willing to learn.**:

- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Team player with the ability to work in small teams.

**Experience**:

- Experience in soldering, electronic assembly and testing.
- **High level of dexterity with hands and good eyesight. (for delicate work)**:

- Ability to read and understand circuit schematic diagrams.
- Patience for repetitive tasks.
- General computer skills including word, excel, etc.
- Ability to work without constant supervision and micromanagement.
- **REQUIRED: Valid SA driving license and own reliable transport.**
