Type: Permanent

Job description / core competencies:
Sales/business development Identifying and building new business relationships with potential customers and partners.
Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of sales opportunities.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site assessments.
Develop and present compelling proposals to secure new business.

Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management.
Building and maintaining close relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Sales reporting and forecasting.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer contacts and sales pipeline using CRM software.
Produce regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress and performance against targets.

**Location**: Cape Town, Western Cape

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
A degree, particularly in Commerce, Engineering or Science would be an advantage.

More than 6 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in the logistics and/or materials handling industry.
Experience in large and small companies is an advantage. Self-starter, independent and disciplined.
Enjoys building and driving new sales in the technology space and understands the process.
Proficient in all MS Office programs, including Excel, as well as CRM software and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
