**Education and experience**:

- Diploma in IT Infrastructure / NQF level 6 (Diploma course of 1 to 3 years).
- Must have a IT Infrastructure qualification and knowledge

**Key Performance Areas**:
**Help Desk Support**:

- Assist in managing help desk calls, scheduling appointments, and handling tickets.
- Work closely with the IT support team to ensure timely resolution of
- user issues.

**End-User Support**:

- Provide basic support to end-users to minimize service delays for simple technical problems.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient IT infrastructure.

**IT Standards and Documentation**:

- Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to update and create documentation for IT processes and procedures.

**Field Work and Customer Interaction**:

- Engage in fieldwork, providing on-site support and interacting directly with customers.
- Develop strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

**Additional Duties**:

- Perform other related duties as required to support the overall goals of the IT department.
- Embrace opportunities to learn and contribute to various aspects of IT operations.
