Quality Surveyor

**Job Purpose**: To ensure the quality of livestock products by conducting regular surveys and monitoring compliance with industry standards for international export.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct surveys on farms and livestock facilities to assess the quality of animals and their living conditions.
- Evaluate livestock health, nutrition, and hygiene standards to ensure they meet industry requirements.
- Document and report findings, including making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Collaborate with farmers and other stakeholders to implement best practices and promote high-quality livestock products.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and updates to ensure that the latest best practices are being followed.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with farmers, industry organizations, and other stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, agriculture, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of livestock production and industry standards.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various locations.
- Good computer skills, including experience with MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and on weekends as needed.
