My client is a well-established Construction & Building Renovations concern who seeks to employ a Junior Bookkeeper / Creditors Clerk to be based at their office in Montague Gardens. The ideal profile is one who describes themselves as having the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and have an assertive, professional manner when dealing with suppliers and clients.
Remuneration: R12 500 CTC slightly negotiable
Minimum Requirements - Non negotiable:
- Matric and tertiary education (Accounting)
- 2+ years’ bookkeeping / creditors experience
- Pastel experience essential
Working Hours: 08h00 - 17h00 Monday to Thursday, 08h00 - 15h00 Friday
Duties will include:
- Process Suppliers invoices
- Ensure invoices are properly authorized
- Check and match invoices against orders
- Ensure month end invoices are met
- Monthly recon of supplier statements
- Filling of invoices
- General Administration
- Resolving creditor queries
