Welder Assistant

**About the position**

To install, maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment and manufacture parts by use of basic hand tools and carry out basic turning

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Respond with artisan to welding works / breakdowns with speed and accuracy
- To see where OH&S can be improved to ensure and improve safety on the site, create a safe working area
- Ensure maintenance of all tools
- Adhere to all OHS requirements

**Minimum requirements**:

- Matric
- 1 year mechanical experience
- Competencies: Team player, reliable, self-discipline, accurate, interpersonal skills, attention to detail

**Other requirements**
- The job requires you to work shifts, work on weekends and public holidays
- The position will occasionally require you to work overtime.
