Experienced Planner

A well-known packaging manufacturer is looking for an experienced Planner to join their dynamic team and spearhead one of their value streams.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Non-negotiable: 5 years experience in a manufacturing space with raw materials and BOM knowledge
- N5/N5 Mechanical/ Electrical Diploma in Operations Management/ Procurement/ Supply Chain
- Non-negotiable: Supply Chain & Inventory experience
- Non
- negotiable: Advanced Excel, Syspro, Barco
- Solid planning experience in an extremely stressful and busy environment
- Ability to see the consequences down the line - the plan board errors/changes have a knock-on effect on the production floor
- Procurement experience - advantageous
- Able to remain calm in the eye of the storm - the planner is a touch point for a lot of internal departments
- Must be a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Own vehicle - Essential

**Core Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update the master production plan
- Establish sequence and lead times of each manufacturing process
- Ensure Sales forecasts and customer orders are met
- Plan and schedule workflow for each process / department according to manufacturing lead-times and processes
- Determine materials, machines, tools and manpower requirements for each production process
