We are searching for Freelance Insurance Training Facilitators, based in Durban. The group of successful facilitators will provide a project-based service to our academy. These roles would be best suited to Facilitators with learnership experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan and update training schedules according to region’s expressed needs and budget.
- Perform needs analysis to identify performance gaps and proposed appropriate solutions.
- Implement learning intervention.
- Prepare for event as per lesson plan and learning content.
- Facilitate the learning intervention according to lesson plan and principles.
- Report errors on learning material to moderator to correct.
- Assess learners.
- Prepare learners for assessments.
- Invigilate and mark assessments.
- Provide support to learners who are deemed “not yet competent”.
- Provide assessment feedback to learners.
- Report on errors on assessment to moderator to correct.
- Manage learning processes.
- Complete and record attendance register
- Complete and record learner results
- Complete and record facilitator report
- Design learning material
- Collate relevant course content.
- Develop learning material as per set requirements.
- Submit learning material to line manager for moderation and approval.

FORMAL EDUCATION
- Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practitioner Qualification (ETDP) or equivalent - Preferred
- Relevant FAIS Fit and Proper qualification - preferably Long Term Insurance, Wealth Management or Short term insurance -min NQF Level 5

TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION
- Assessor scope with INSETA will be an advantage - this means the incumbent must have industry experience and a relevant qualification e.g. Wealth Management NQF 5
- Certified Financial Planner as an added advantage

EXPERIENCE
- 2 years training and development
- 3 years in the insurance industry
- 2 years facilitation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Learnership
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: R1,000.00 - R2,000.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Facilitation: 2 years (required)
