IT Site Manager

IT Site manager is responsible for preparing sites prior to the commencement of projects. This includes setting out the site and organizing the site for projects kick off. They plan projects and ensure that they meet agreed specifications budget and timescales. They manage a dynamic team and handle all problems, issues raised, or encountered in an ethical and professional manner. Ensure health and safety knowledge is in line with mining Policy and Procedure

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations
- Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
- Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
- Approve project plans
- Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
- Ensure compliance across the worksite
- Review all project plans before submitting to management
- Answer inquiries from clients based on Projects
- Mediate on-site conflicts
- Prepare and submits weekly/monthly progress reports,etc
- Provide high level customer service and ensure compliance to all company’s rules and regulations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to customer enquiries in responsive manner.
- Be able to support clients in line with SLA
- Organize project review meetings with clients to improve performance continuously and qualitatively.
- Monitor all company activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Solid technical background (Surface and underground fleet) in the mining

sector
- Ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the
- organization’s operations and strategic planning of the services and parts

department
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of

organizations mission
- Help exceed company sales and operations goals
- Ensure and maintain fleet availability
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Services
- Play, a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared

towards operational excellence
- Interact with Key Account customers if issues arise that need escalation and

work with customer groups to ensure all service needs are met
- Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with

departments as required Provide regular status reports and gather requirements
- for department’s and provide input into the infrastructure products that are

bought or serviced
- interact with customers at a technical level, as required

**Job Type**: Temporary

- Phalaborwa, Limpopo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT company project management and related: 10 years (preferred)
