**Requirements**:

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and in particular bending and sheet metal terms.
- Setting up and operating CNC-controlled press brake which includes:

- Creating bending programs for new components, from 2D or 3D drawings. Knowledge of bending sequences and tooling requirements is essential.
- Execution of CNC programs, which includes setup of tooling stations and adjusting backstop positions.
- Performing program corrections to ensure angular and dimensional tolerances.
- Performance of quality and dimensional checks during and after the bending process.
- Complete job cards and dispatch parts for following processes.
- Assist and plan daily workload to satisfy customer requirements.
- Maintenance and servicing of machinery and tooling.

**The following are traits required of the bending operator**:

- Experience in the sheet-metal industry
- Experience with CNC press brakes is an advantage
- Knowledge in reading technical drawings
- Computer literate
- Shift readiness
- Willing to work weekends if the jobs requires
- Good housekeeping
- Attentive to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic
- Good communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Enjoy working in a team
- Willing to learn and grow
