Ensuring that the smelter operate safely and efficiently in order to produce the quality and quantity of products planned.
- Influence and advise production staff to ensure stable and efficient operation of the processing plant.

Adherence to the production plan;
- Technical assistance to the smelter Foreman & Coordinator.
- Fault finding and problem solving to realise quick smelter turnaround.
- Process control within defined recipe and operating parameters.
- Investigate failures & process deviation.
- Continuous improvement initiatives and project implementation within the smelter parameters.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/ Metallurgy
- At least 2 years’ experience as a graduate trainee metallurgist in a smelter environment.
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R60,000.00 per month
