**Responsibilities: **

Utilising your animal science expertise to deliver expert advice to livestock producers, focusing on cattle and sheep

management practices.

Formulating optimised rations and create efficient feed flow plans to maximize livestock production.

Collaborating with feed companies and institutions to ensure the supply of top-notch animal health products.

Sharing your insights and expertise by writing articles and delivering engaging presentations.

Networking with farmers' associations, study groups, and NWK Retail outlets to promote livestock services.

Providing personalised support through farm visits and telephonic consultations.

Being a crucial part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, offering technical support and guidance.

**Qualifications and requirements: **

Proven experience in livestock management, including exposure to a multidisciplinary team approach.

SARNAP registration and a valid driver’s license.

**Skills and attributes: **

Analytical mind set: Strong understanding of cattle management and pasture utilisation.

Excellent communicator: Great verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a customer-oriented

approach.

- Die aanwending van jou veekundige grondslag om veeprodusente met goeie raad te bedien, met die fokus op
- bestuur van bees
- en skaapkuddes.- Formulering van geoptimaliseerde voerrantsoene en skepping van doeltreffende voervloeiplanne om veeproduksie
- te maksimeer.- Nou samewerking met veevoermaatskappye en -instellings om die verskaffing van uitnemende
- dieregesondheidsprodukte te verseker.- Deel jou insigte en kundigheid deur artikels te skryf en boeiende aanbiedings te lewer.
- Netwerk met boereverenigings, studiegroepe en NWK-kleinhandelswinkels om veekundige dienste te bevorder.
- Verskaffing van persoonlike ondersteuning deur plaasbesoeke en telefoniese konsultasies.
