**Prestige Cosmetics Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious individual to join the Finance team as a Debtors Clerk. If you are passionate about finance, and want to make a positive contribution within a dynamic team environment; we are looking for you**

**Purpose of the Role**
- **The core purpose of the role of the Debtors Clerk is to keep records of customers’ accounts at an undertaking and recover the undertaking’s debts.**_

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

GENERAL SKILLS
- Have an outgoing personality and is able relate to people.
- Able to be firm when customers are reluctant to pay their debts.
- Work under stressful conditions

DEBTORS FUNCTION
- Being able to recover monies from non-paying customers or defaulters that might otherwise have had to be written off as bad debts.
- Actively strive and achieve debtor’s day’s targets as stipulated in KPI schedule.
- Timeous processing of debtors payments and credit notes.
- Debtor’s statements send to customers within 7 working days of month-end.
- Ad-hoc invoicing of non-stock debtors such as staffing claims, marketing claims and principal reimbursements.

OTHER
- Continually search for value adding strategies to benefit the company.
- Assist with factory shop sales, when required.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Matric certificate
- Relevant Qualification
- 2 - 5 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk
- Must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge and current industry trends
- Must be a team player, an active learner and problem-solver
- Must have reliable transport

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
