SENIOR DATA ANALYST & OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Carrying out data gathering, data analysis and data reporting;
- Assisting in conducting institutional and market research (Qualitative & Quantitative);
- Extracting institutional data from PowerHEDA;
- Providing information (ad hoc requests) to University stakeholders;
- Providing overall office administration including financial and administrative support;
- Booking conferences, visits, trips and accommodation and travel logistics for IRA staff;
- Developing and maintaining the IRA intranet and internet websites;
- Ensuring budget control and the procurement and payment of goods and services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in either Statistics, Data science, Mathematical science or any other related research field with at a minimum of 3 years of experience in the following:

- Higher education environment;
- Data analysis;
- Microsoft Office package.

ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:

- A postgraduate qualification in a related research field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the following:

- Project management.

The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED and UMVUZO medical aid schemes and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
