Nursery Staff

**Introduction**

We are excited to announce that the above position has become available at our Marvellous Orchid (Boksburg) branch.

Primary Goal:
To maximize the sales of all products through effective displays and exceptional customer service, as well as offering advice as and when required.

**Our Ideal Staff**
- You should know intimately all flowers and products sold in the Nursery. If knowledge is lacking in any products, this must be brought to management's attention so that existing staff can give you the necessary training.
- You must at all times be clean, well-groomed and neatly dressed
- You must always be courteous and helpful, mainly when dealing with customers.
- Provides excellent, professional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Approach and assist customers with product selection and answers customer queries, offering assistance to all customers in a friendly manner.
- Provide prompt feedback to customers within the time frames requested.
- Professionally accepts telephone orders and queries in line with laid down procedures.
- Arrange displaysplays and promotional material as and when required by management to aid in maximizing sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell to customers and inform them about promotions to maximize sales.
- Assist with Unpacking and labelling of stock received.
- Maintains display shelves in a clean and tidy order ensuring that stock is always sufficient to meet the demand and that stock rotation takes place on a "first in-first out" basis.
- You will perform cashier work by scanning the customer's selected items and ensuring all prices and quantities are correct. Accept payments accurately and issue receipts to customers.
- You will maintain a clean workspace at all times.
- You will communicate with all staff members and promote an enjoyable working environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: R26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
