Built on decades of experience in the property industry, our client is well known as one of the heavy hitters in the auctioneering sector. They pride themselves on building a prime market for their buyers and sellers, specialising in commercial, industrial, residential and retail properties.

With operations across South Africa, they are looking to expand their high performing Broker teams in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

Reporting directly to the Head of Division, you will be tasked to support them in growing the business through active business development in sourcing and securing sale mandates with real estate landlords. Once mandates are secured, you will then need to leverage on your strong sales skills to negotiate and take deals over the line through the auction platform and in return will be offered a competitive basic salary and commission on all closed deals. Some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Canvassing properties within the region
- Assessing property values using comparative data
- Preparation of proposal documents to present to prospective sellers
- Coordinating auction catalogues
- Negotiating and concluding sales

To qualify for this this position, you will need to have:

- Matric Certificate (Essential)
- Tertiary diploma/degree (preferred)
- At least 3 years commercial property sales experience and a strong track record of deals (Essential)
- Experience with Auction sales (preferred)
- Strong network of real estate landlords/owners
