- (Market related, Negotiable)- A well-established manufacturing company, specialising in hydraulic systems and equipment is looking for the above to assemble hydraulic power packs and assemble hydraulic components, as per drawing and at times per sample as well as to fabricate any additional part necessary and to complete any given fitting task.

**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)/N3 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years Hydraulic fitting experience.
- Qualified Artisan / Trade Test.
- Conducting field service.
- Bending of hydraulic tubing.
- Carrying out of general fitting.
- Dis-assembly and assembly of pumps requiring adjustment and setting, including troubleshooting without supervision.
- Assisting Factory Manager in the machine workshop, as and when requested/ required.
- Assisting Sales with quotations from time to time.
- Maintaining of own equipment: Filling in checklists on a weekly basis.
- Co-ordinating the stripping and actual repair of cylinders.
- Tagging of component/s.
- Preparing of parts for spray painting and paint parts.
- Hand welding by mechanically fed electrodes.
- Preliminary welding for positioning of jobs prior to welding, riveting or bolting up.
- Machining of different hydraulic components according to drawing specifications, following the job card as procedure for manufacturing.
- Assisting in the stripping off and assessments of repairs for quotations purposes.
- Building of power packs, assembling and testing cylinders and other hydraulic components.
- Assembling, pre-charging and testing accumulators.
- Repetition drill sharpening by machine (other than in tool room).
- Oiling and/or greasing.
- Drilling of holes
- Tapping and re-tapping of holes.
- Deburring of all manufactured parts.
- Deburring by hand and/or by grinding and/or portable power tools.
- Sand and /or shot and/or hydro and/or grit blasting.
- Metal cleaning by degreasing and/or by picking and/or by rinsing and/or by fuxing.
- Operating hand portable and/or pedestal grinding machine where the operator is not required to grind to marks and/or gauges and/or sizes and/or templates.
- Rethreading and/or re-tapping and/or reclaiming of nuts and/or bolts.
- Checking, preparing and marking own blocks.
- Assembling of jobs as per drawing / circuit diagram.
