**Your Role**:
As an Upholsterer, your main responsibilities will include:
**Finishing Touches**: Attach decorative elements such as buttons, trim, and tassels for a polished final product.

**Precision Cutting**: Measure and cut fabric or leather using industrial cutting tools.

**Inspection & Repairs**: Inspect wooden frameworks for defects and coordinate necessary adjustments before upholstery.

**Equipment Operation**: Operate sewing machines, nail guns, tack hammers, and other industrial equipment.

**Housekeeping & Documentation**: Maintain a clean workspace and complete all required paperwork for each project.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a household furniture upholsterer.
- Expertise in working with leather (non-negotiable).
- Deep buttoning experience is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to faultless finishing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Requirements**:

- Immediate availability.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Must be based or willing to work in Paarl.
- Upholstery trade qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Successful completion of a practical skills test during the interview process.
- Provide contactable references with landline numbers.

**Education**: Grade 12 or higher.
