**Cashbook Clerk - Pietermaritzburg**

**Responsibilities**:

- Capturing of all transactions off bank statements on Syspro:

- Cash & Card
- Creditors
- All payments (Weekly & Monthly)
- All Online payments
- Daily & Monthly bank charges
- Prepare recon and capturing of the credit cards
- Preparation of bank reconciliation
- Updating sales/banking schedule:

- Export daily sales & tender report to schedule
- Allocate Cash & Card from Bank statement
- Allocate EFT refunds
- Follow up on queries
- Monitor store disbursements & staff purchases
- Export report for price overrides, contact store to ensure authorization was given
- Ensure daily cash ups are done
- Processing of EFT Refunds for Concept stores & Online:

- Ensure policies are followed and paperwork has been received with authorisation
- Contact customers for relevant details
- Processing EFT refunds and cashbook payments
- Processing & preparation of rental & month end payments
- Loading creditors onto Nedbank
- Investigate and communicate when there are issues with online refunds
- Assisting staff to correct transactions incorrectly processed
- Capturing of transactions off bank statements:

- Capture & monitor changes in debit orders and ensure tax invoices are received
- Reconcile all creditor payments to bank statement
- Cashbook payments
- Capture and reconciliation of credit cards
- Petty cash pay-outs, balancing & capturing onto Syspro
- Motor vehicle license renewals
- Loading of all payments and checking if bank details are correct
- Preparation of daily cashflow
