Our Client in the Engineering / Manufacturing industry currently has a vacancy for the position of a Line Technician for the Assembly Plant, based in Pretoria East.

**EXPERIENCE**: - **Experience in the Automotive industry preferred**

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Matric and certified Mechatronics Artisan / Millwright Artisan. - Experience with electrical circuits (E-Plan). - Ability to manufacture tools from 2-D drawings, 3-D CAD. - Robotic Programming (spot welding, MIG welding) / PLC programming. - MS Office. Well developed interpersonal communication skills. - Strong organisational skills.Analytical / fault finding ability. - Systems and deadline driven.

**2 - 5 years Experience in a production / manufacturing environment**

**DUTIES INCLUDE**: → Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the robotic equipment used in production and ensure the quality of sub-assemblies, maintain the equipment, identify and resolve issues, and follow safety protocols. - Install, test and maintain industrial controls / PLC programs (software and hardware). - Maintain program (Robotic, PLC) or welding parameters - Read and understand drawings and design concepts (E-plan drawings). - Experience with electrical circuits (E-Plan). - Perform continuous routine diagnostic checks on automated systems. - Troubleshoot non-functioning component parts (sensors, controls, etc.). - Isolate problems and repair or replace any necessary components. - Monitor the line OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). - Record and demarcate scrap / suspect parts after possible interference - Maintain safety systems and ensure systems functional at all times. - Perform planned, preventative and predictive maintenance. - Ensure conformance of product to the required specification. - Analytical / fault finding ability. - Systems and deadline driven. - Provide line support to production in order to minimize down time.

Pay: R23 400,00 - R24 000,00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- in a production / manufacturing environment: 4 years (required)
- Matric and certified Mechatronics, Millwright Artisan: 3 years (required)
- Robotic Programming (spot welding, MIG weldingPLC progr.: 1 year (required)
- Ability to manufacture tools from 2-D drawings, 3-D CAD.: 4 years (required)
