About the Role

As a Consulting Software Engineer, you will provide assistance and input to management. Leading large multi-functional development, you'll be solving complex problems and acting as a source of expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing design input across a product
- Serving as the primary point of contact for external technology resources
- Working directly with customers and end users
- Acting as an acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issues
- Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues
- Designing and working with complex data models
- Mentoring lead software developers interested in consultancy in development methodologies and optimization techniques

**Requirements**:

- Have substantial Software Development experience
- Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Have an advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Be expert in development languages, including JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX and.Net
- Have an excellent understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems
- Have experience in partnering with and leading internal and external technology resources to solve business needs
- Have great problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
