RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Engineering Consulting firm in South Africa to find a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Head of Department. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering consulting projects, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services to clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic guidance and direction for the department's operations and projects
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
- Ensure the successful delivery of engineering consulting services to clients, meeting quality standards and project deadlines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve company goals

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering consulting industry
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in a relevant engineering discipline
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction
- Professional Engineering registration and membership in relevant industry associations
