This role will support the business strategy of leveraging systems to directly drive business value. The role is a De Beers Group business expert with extensive knowledge of the ERP functional and technical landscapes including project and portfolio delivery. They are aligned with IM and business objectives and operating model.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Work safely and be committed to being a safety leader.
- Provide coaching and advise on future use of technology and business process improvements across the EA span of control.
- Optimise business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and IM systems particularly in the ERP project environment.
- Gains consensus on new process concepts and builds coalitions to move process and associated integrations, digital landscape and automation improvement forward.
- Leads design and implementation, user documentation, data migration and reconciliation for business systems.
- Conduct prototypes, develop functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables in partnership with third party development teams.
- Perform functional analysis, requirements definition and solution configuration and testing, in conjunction with delivery teams.
- Work with the operations teams and support partners to identify, plan and execute service and control improvements.
- Keep up to date with technology trends and developments and initiate proof of concepts (POC's) where appropriate.
- Identifies risk root causes and quantify potential business impact. Implements solutions to reduce level of exposure.
- Adheres to and participates in governance forums and processes.
- IM portfolio manager for ERP projects and programmes inclusive of reporting and demand aggregation

**Qualifications**
The successful incumbent must meet the following criteria:

- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline
- Experience working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment.
- IT Service Delivery, vendor management, project management
- Business case formulation, design and delivery of global enterprise solutions
- Senior stakeholder engagement and management
- Functional exposure to complex portfolio management concepts
- Extensive SAP cross functional experience

**REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES**:

- A self-starter who takes the initiative and follows though.
- Ability to work across organisational and functional boundaries, with good influencing skills, excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, bringing people together to achieve a common goal.
- Proven skills in setting goals, planning, prioritising and administering work.
- Strong thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Understands business strategies and can make the link to IM contribution.
- Understands the IM Architecture and how their own work contributes to its achievement.
