- Provide support to Boilermakers in cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding steel to construct and repair mechanical/metal parts.- Duties and tasks:
- Adhere to strict occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.**Inherent Requirements**
- Minimum requirements:
- National senior certificate
- Boilermaker Assistant qualification
- Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required.
- Relevant experience will be advantageous ± 5 years proven working experience.
- Skills required:
- Able to perform manual work.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Good manual dexterity with the ability to use **hand tools** and **portable electrical equipment**.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication.
- Ability to follow instructions well.
