We are currently recruiting a Technical Director - Rail Civils Design to support the execution of a large portfolio of local and international railway projects. The Technical Director is responsible for the development of technical capabilities of the rail civils design discipline by implementing business plans and in particular, by raising the technical capabilities of local staff as well as sharing knowledge across the business. Serves as lead engineer on mid-to-large size projects, providing specialised technical input to studies and design for specific area of expertise. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others and supports the development of technical proposals. Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Able to proactively identify opportunities to support the discipline area's overall growth and the Civil Infrastructure Business Line. Is considered an expert in their field of engineering.

**Technical Delivery Management**:
Provides technical leadership for a specialty area and is considered to be an expert in their field. Responsible for technically leading aspects of projects, supporting Project Managers and technical teams to deliver within scope, budget, timeframe, and high-quality standards. Engages with project technical teams within a field of expertise to confirm project approach and review deliverables. Delivers effective communication inclusive of clients and team members to clarify expectations and requirements. Technically coordinates with Authorities for approvals of schemes. Participates in recruitment, technical interviews, and evaluations of prospective employees. May be required to make day-to-day decisions for a technical team. Mentors' technical leadership talent and trains staff, ensuring discipline skills are up to date and industry relevant.
