Make sure you are properly dressed in uniform and/or PPE’s provided.

Complete all information required including bank details on your contract before starting work with us

Make sure you have a valid work permit where applicable and that this is delivered to HR prior to expiry of your contract

Familiarise yourself with company policies

Stick to you rostered time

Make use of the point of sale

Capture all reservation on semper

Do daily cash up

Conduct stock take on time and to standard

Take bookings

Answer phone and direct to correct department

Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction

Greet customers and present menus

Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. This includes Barista duties, preparation of milkshakes and cocktails.

Make wine recommendations or share additional information upon request

Take and serve drinks orders and up-sell additional products when appropriate

If you are working in the Grillroom, present wine tastings

If you are working at the Grillroom welcoming of guests and assisting with check in/out

Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy. This includes function set up and break down.

Check products for quality and correct any problems

Deliver checks and collect payments

Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Working closely with all serving and kitchen staff

Maintain bathroom in a condition you and the guest would like to find it in

**Salary**: R3,750.00 - R7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wellington, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bartending: 1 year (required)
