**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Understand, adhere to, and implement the company's recipes for product development. This involves accurately measuring and combining specific chemicals in the correct quantities.

Operate and maintain a variety of mixing or blending machinery to create products according to specifications.

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper mix or blend consistency. Make necessary adjustments to settings to maintain product quality.

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment. This includes handling potentially hazardous chemicals in a responsible manner.

Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on mixing machinery to ensure optimal operation.

Keep accurate records of the types and quantities of chemicals used, product batches created, and any issues or discrepancies that arise during production.

Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure that all products meet quality standards. Report any inconsistencies or issues immediately.

Participate in ongoing training and education related to the handling and mixing of chemicals, operation of machinery, and safety procedures.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a role involving the handling and mixing of chemicals.

Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately.

Excellent safety record, with the ability to follow strict safety guidelines and procedures.

Good physical health and strength, as the role may require heavy lifting and long periods of standing.

Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.

**Physical Requirements**:
Ability to lift heavy items.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Capable of wearing personal protective equipment, including gloves, face shields, and safety glasses for extended periods.

**Work Environment**:
This position requires working in a plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, and potentially hazardous chemicals. Safety training and protective equipment will be provided.

**Salary**: R6,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month
