Field Guide training school based in the Waterberg area is looking for a Field Guide Trainer / Camp Manager couple.

**Guide Trainer**:
The Guide Trainer is responsible for executing the training activities of the College within the framework of the approved curriculum.
- Min 5 years’ experience in the bush working as a Field Guide (essential), experience as Senior Guide or Head Guide (advantageous)
- Grade 12 (advantageous)
- Prior experience in training and facilitation (essential)
- FGASA Professional Field Guide (essential), Professional Trails Guide
- Driver’s License & PrDP Current (Essential)
- ARH current (essential)
- First Aid Level 2
- MS Office Suite
- Qualified Facilitator/FGASA Assessor (advantageous)
- Range Officer (advantageous)
- Student focus philosophy
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
- Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with excellent hygiene principles.
- Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required.
- Committed and loyal, adaptable, and flexible.
- Must work accurately under pressure.
- People skills - tolerance, patience, and care.
- Leadership skills with passion for development and skills transfer.

**Camp Manager**:
The Camp Manager is responsible for the day-to-day logistics for the smooth operation of the Field College. This includes the daily supervision of specific staff as well as support for the students.
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
- Previous administrative/supervisory experience (essential)
- Min 1 year experience in the bush, working as a Field Guide (advantageous)
- FGASA Level 1 (advantageous), Qualification in related field (advantageous)
- MS Office Suite
- Guest/Student focus philosophy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication.
- Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
- Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with excellent hygiene principles.
- Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required.
- Committed and loyal, adaptable, and flexible.
