**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision of Trades**:
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of brickwork, plastering, and tiling tasks on-site.
Ensure quality standards are met in all aspects of the brickwork, plastering, and tiling work.
Provide guidance and support to workers, ensuring they understand and follow project plans and specifications.
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and client specifications.
Address any issues or challenges that arise in relation to brickwork, plastering, and tiling, and provide solutions as needed.
**Site Management & Coordination**:
Coordinate and schedule work between various trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available when needed.
Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to site safety protocols and regulations.
Organize and manage daily work activities, ensuring work is completed according to the project timeline and with mínimal disruptions.
**Health & Safety**:
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site for all trades involved in the project.
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and resolve potential hazards.
Ensure that workers are provided with the correct safety equipment and training as necessary.
**Quality Control & Inspection**:
Inspect the work of the brickwork, plastering, and tiling teams regularly to ensure high standards are maintained.
Verify that all work complies with the project specifications and local building codes.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any defects or discrepancies in the work.
**Progress Reporting**:
Monitor the progress of all trades and report on the status of brickwork, plastering, and tiling to senior management.
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Maintain a clear line of communication with the Project Manager or Site Manager about the overall project status and completion timelines.
**Final Completion and Handover**:
Coordinate the completion of all final finishes, including the completion of brickwork, plastering, and tiling, ensuring the site is ready for handover.
Conduct final inspections of all work areas to confirm that all aspects of the work meet the required standards before sign-off.
Prepare for final site inspection and ensure any snagging issues are addressed promptly.
Oversee the cleaning and preparation of the site for handover to the client or the next stage of the project.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on brickwork, plastering, and tiling.
Proven experience in coordinating and managing construction site teams to meet project deadlines.
**Technical Knowledge**:
Strong understanding of brickwork, plastering, and tiling techniques, as well as associated materials and tools.
Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and quality control practices.
**Skills**:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to resolve conflicts and problems on-site effectively and efficiently.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
**Certifications**:
Relevant construction certifications (e.g., SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid, Health and Safety courses) preferred.
Trade qualifications in brickwork, plastering, or tiling are beneficial.
**Working Conditions**:
Occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines and requirements.
Health and safety equipment will be provided and must be worn on-site.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
