Warehouse Assistance

**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
To ensures accuracy in order picking and correct storage of medicines and related supplies in the medical depot according to standard operating procedures. Make sure that all orders are packed appropriately to avoid damage and any other quality problems according to the standard operating procedures. Housekeeping of the warehouse to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12/ Matric
- 1 - 3 years working experience
- Proficiency in English and isiXhosa languages
- Clear criminal record

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pick and pack medicines and medical supplies orders from health facilities and other clients of the depot
- Assist in proper storage of medicines and medical supplies received
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Assist with stock takes and stock count as required
- Assist in off-loading trucks of incoming stock
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers
- Pallet stock into designated locations within the warehouse
- Complete and update all relevant paperwork for stock movement in the warehouse
- Maintains a neat and clean workspace in the warehouse at all times
- Ensure that all workspaces, shelves and floors are neat and tidy at the end of the day
- Assists with other Warehouse duties.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
