**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Overseeing and capturing of monthly stock takes, address variances and prepare for annual stock audits.
- Provide leadership to the team, conduct quarterly performance appraisals, and ensure the teams alignment to the company’s vision, mission, strategy and values.
- Execute daily tasks such as:
- Responding to stock queries.
- Completing of stock ordering requests.
- Booking out of goods to projects.
- Manage the tool store by ensuring tools are signed out and back in after each shift.
- Request new stock codes.
- Requesting quotes on workshop equipment and ensure repairs are completed timeously.
- Ordering of consumables and completing requisitions for stock purchases.
- Ensure leftover materials are properly booked back into stores and accounted for as stock.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of stores and ensure work in progress is clearly identified and stored in an organised manner.
- Coordinate the purchasing process of consumables and equipment, including negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and tracking order status.
- Identify areas of innovation that may lead to increased productivity, automation, reduced costs, time and material wastages to enhance profitability.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Grade 12 Matriculation (Requirement).
- Warehouse Management / Supply Chain Management NQF level 7.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry.
- 2+ years’ experience in leading a stores team.
- Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, logistics, and inventory management principles
