**What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)**

Your role will involve overseeing the entire process of residential PV projects, ensuring their successful completion. As an integral part of the organisation, you will have a crucial responsibility in delivering residential projects of the highest quality, meeting client expectations, and staying within the allocated budget.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of residential projects, starting from the initial planning and design stages to procurement, construction, and final handover. It will be important to develop and keep track of project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery. You will need to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure a smooth progression of the project. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise, and providing regular updates to stakeholder, will be part of your responsibilities. Leading project meetings and maintaining effective communication channels with all members of the project team will also be crucial. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.

**Where you’ll be doing it**

Your new employer is based in Pretoria. They are a Solar PV, engineering, procurement and construction management company, with a commitment towards excellence and with the experience to serve the market with turn-key solar PV and battery

backup solutions with the objective to be the preferred Solar PV provider of residential, commercial and industrial solar PV solutions to the South African market.

**What you’ll need**

You would need a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. With proven experience as a project manager in residential construction, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software and tools. Relevant certifications, such as PMP, will be a plus. Valid driver’s licence is also essential for this role.
