**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric/Grade 12
Own vehicle and driver's license
Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in IT
Education or certification in Windows Server management/maintenance (advanced level support)
Education or certification in ITIL
Experience working with Linux/Unix and Windows scripting (PowerShell for Windows, bash and korn for Unix/Linux)
Education or certification or demonstrable experience in enterprise integration platforms (BizTalk, IBM MQ, Sterling Integrator, etc.)
Education or certification or solid demonstrable experience in systems architecture
5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a Technical Specialist/Integration Specialist/Software Architect role
Demonstrable experience with logistics-related IT systems (TMS, WMS)
Demonstrable experience with project management and methodologies (e.g., Prince2 and Agile/SCRUM)
Demonstrable experience with IT Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF)
Demonstrable experience with VMWare and other virtualization products
Infrastructure installation, support, and maintenance experience (including Fiber Switches, SAN, Physical servers) with the ability to scope, plan, and deploy services as required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Excellent analytical skills to understand and breakdown a problem into its components
Ability and willingness to work long hours when required
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Strong IT infrastructure experience
Solid understanding of logistics, preferably 3PL and parcel distribution
Ability to lead people towards meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals

Deep understanding and experience implementing synchronous and asynchronous integration solutions
Well-versed in hardware architecture, network design principles, and IT security
Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems

Complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to comply with governance processes and structure

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Provide advanced support and maintenance for operating systems and associated hardware.
Collaborate closely with product vendors, business clients, and customers to ensure optimal solutions.
Ensure IT systems and services meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with integration projects, optimizing the efficiency of WMS/ERP system integrations through scripting, monitoring, upgrading, and support.

Deploy and maintain solutions in alignment with business and IT requirements, continuously seeking to enhance services provided to the business.
Participate in after-hours standby services for two weeks per month.
