Colour Matcher

A Vacancy exists for a Colour Matcher at **Van Son Inks and Graphics Southern Africa** situated in Benrose Johannesburg.

You will report to the National Technical Manager or Line Manager on site (in the absence of the National Technical Manager).
- Approximately five years’ experience in an Ink laboratory and colour matching department
- X-Rite Spectrophotometer and Ink QC Software knowledge prefered
- Previous experience in an ink printing environment
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
- OMNI Accounts Software experience will be an added advantage
- Customer service experience
- Valid drivers licence (code 8)

**Key responsibilities, but not limited to**:

- Colour Matching, mixing and issuing ink, varnish, chemicals and other consumable items.
- Performing Quality Checks.
- Conducting drawdowns/proofs for new pantone/jobs.
- Assisting press operators with queries and troubleshooting on press.
- Capturing information on the ink management system.
- Assisting press operators with colour matching and colour scans.
- Maintaining documentation and general administration

**Salary**: From R15,000.00 per month
