**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
- The Logistics manager is in charge of warehouse inventory, material and production planning, and transportation activities. They have to organize and oversee logistics flow and operations according to AZDP and lean basics, ensuring safe, correct and efficient material management for the Carbody manufacturing project.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**
- Responsible for logistics and planning team and activities
- Ensure planning activities are performed according to Alstom rules and process
- Contribute to define warehouse layout and manage location mapping according to flows optimization
- Ensure kitting and line feeding
- Draft and update packaging instruction
- Transportation management and shipments follow up
- Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies:

- Know and follow all safety, environmental and emergency procedures
- Respect the safety conditions & organize trainings to the team on how to handle goods, trolleys etc. in safe manner
- Actively participate in all aspects of safety including reporting of near misses and meetings
- Solve of all safety, site keeping or maintenance issues that are found during inspection that require assistance
- Manage the physical flow whether internally managed or subcontracted, and ensure the compliance of those activities with AZDP standards (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan)
- Manage team : calculate workload, define management routines, implement development plans
- Define and deploy logistics continuous improvement roadmap according to APSYS standards
- Define and deploy improvement in order to reduce logistics costs
- Provide reporting to management for the various supply chain KPI
- Ensure the storage of materials, guarantee the quantities stored and the correct storage conditions.
- Ensure the material availability, integrity & delivery on time on production line
- Manage the physical material flows (reception, put away, kitting, mirror area, shipping) to always keep physical and system flows aligned
- Ensure the ERP (**E**nterprise **R**esource **P**lanning) solution is implemented and correctly used by Logistics operators
- Work closely with Warehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according to the core model and to train Logistics operators
- Manage 3PL and logistic partners (manage costs, budget, invoices; define targets, monitor activities
- Define the warehouse layout and optimize the storage space (layout, warehouse sizing, slow moving stock / scrapping process,)
- Put in place mirror area in the warehouse to optimize line feeding activities (Kanban flow, sequence,)
- Plan and manage material receipt, inbound transportation, stock entry, picking and kitting, line feeding, packing, shipping, outbound transportation, inventory accuracy, scrap process
- Respect any specific storage regulations (chemicals, battery,)
- Secure inventory accuracy and organize physical counting activities (both cycle counting and wall to wall)
- Ensure the continually improvement of the warehouse organisation & processes
- Ensure compliance to the Code of Ethics and all other relevant policies

- Ensure end to end people management of the team within Alstom framework
- Closely supervise the work practices and performance of employees and conduct performance reviews as scheduled
