**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver effective learning experiences for children with special needs.
- Helping children with special needs in a one-on-one and group setting with things like daily living skills, communication, and social skills.
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of children, and reporting to the classroom teacher on a regular basis.
- Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all children in the classroom.
- Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support the development and progress of children.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's or Honours degree in psychology is required, with a focus on child development and special needs education.
- Experience working with children with special needs is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- A passion for working with children with special needs, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care and education.

**Salary**: From R1.00 per month
