The Finance Clerk will be involved in the following activities for all the companies within the group.
- Bookkeeping function
- Processing cash books
- Petty cash
- Processing of debtors
- Processing of creditors
- Preparation of Intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation of supplier reconciliations
- Preparation of adhoc schedules
- Checking of daily sheets
- Receipting
- Invoicing
- Recording of all RD Cheques and ensuring the necessary journals have been processed at branch level.
- Assist with calculation and submission of VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with the computation for Workmens compensation.
- Ensure compliance to the VAT act.
- Accruals.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax schedules.
- Reconciling creditors and issuing of cheques.
- Updating and keeping staff records
- Time sheets, wages and salaries.
- Liaising with various branches on a daily basis to maintain an effective rate of production.
- Preparation of business, financial, and market research reports.
- Developing new business strategies in areas such as market and financial trends of tenants.
- In house research, to find ways to improve on various problematic areas, and problem solving those areas to move the business forward.
- Handling the daily queries of the business.
- Dealing with client’s complaints and problem solving.
- Implement and improve operational practices and procedures within the company
- Establish and maintain positive communication links with staff
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Dealing with HR matters
- Ad hoc duties including filing, liaising with clients, answering telephones
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: R7,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

- High School (matric) (required)
**Experience**:
